A friendly reminder in regards to your septic system. DO NOT FLUSH WIPES DOWN THE TOILET. Even if the package says they are flushable. They will cause blockage and do not disintegrate. We pumped one system loaded with wipes last week and have 2 more schedule next week that are loaded with wipes. Pumpouts loaded with wipes will cost you twice as much to pump out or worse. If not caught in time you could be looking at putting in a new system which will run you $30,000.00-$40,000.00 All because of flushing wipes.
Since I know it will be asked, it costs twice as much because we need to bring a hydroseeder full of water to brake up the wipes, requires two workers, takes twice as long and you have to pump the additional water going into the tank adding more gallons to what’s pumped out.
